Rob and I were on the same ship together and worked in the same division. I contacted him a few years ago just to say - Hey! Then a couple months ago after going through all the hoops with the VA I told him about the process. A couple days ago he contacted me and told me that he had had success with the hearing test. He too was exposed to steam turbine noise. Rob then pointed out that there were other guys in the steam plant that would benefit from the information I had already done the leg work for. Which inspired the construction of this section of the website.

This is a fairly new rule from the VA. Its a pretty big read but worth the time. The Pact Act can get you money you well deserve if you were exposed to any of the qualifying elements.
